On Thursday, April 11, 1963, at Montgomery General Hospital, LULA MAY GROOMES of Burtonsville, Md., wife of the late William E. Groomes; mother of V. Kenneth Groomes; sister of Mildred A McClintock, Jonathan, Sandy Kemp Sr. and Josiah J. Kemp. She also is survived by five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Francis H. Barber Funeral Home,Laytonsville, Md., where services will be held on Saturday, April 13, at 1 p.m. Interment Rockville Cemetery.
