Obituary:
Mrs. Mary Clark Hamby, age 75 of Knoxville, formerly of Oakdale passed away Sunday January 8, 2017 at her home. Mary was an excellent cook and enjoyed serving her dishes to family and friends, she also enjoyed quilting, doing family research, painting, doing crafts and making every day special for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Arnold and Alline Clark. Infant brother: Charles Steven Clark. And an infant sister: Nancy Lee Clark.
She is survived by three sons: Alan Human and his wife Debbie Mayfield of the United Arab Emirates, Stewart Human of Atlanta and Derick Human of Knoxville. One step-daughter: Sandra Stevens. And one step-son: Scott Stevens. One brother and sister-in-law: W.A. "Bill" and Loretta Clark. One sister and brother-in-law: Barbara and Don Goodman. Four grandchildren, one step-granddaughter, two great grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren. Along with many friends and loved ones with the Cracker Barrel family in both Knoxville and Harriman.
The funeral service was held Thursday January 12, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Rankin Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Kilby officiating. Interment in the church cemetery.
