OBIT:
Mrs. Agnes Amanda Harrel, 57, wife of Luther Harrel, West Side farmer, and a native of the Kittitas Valley, died at the Valley General Hospital last night. She had been ill with cancer for several months.
Mrs. Harrel was born Agnes Amanda Spurling here December 25, 1891 and had lived all her life in this valley. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Spurling, valley pioneers, who homesteaded in the Woldale District.
She is survived by her husband, Luther Harrel; two brothers, Seth I. Spurling of Kirkland and Grover Spurling of Ellensburg; a sister, Mrs. T. W. Porter of Ellensburg; a sister, Mrs. T. W. Porter of Ellensburg, and seven nephews and three nieces. She was a member of the Christian Church and of the Welcome Club.
Funeral services will be held at the Honeycutt-Evenson Chapel Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. Paul Deane Hill officiating. Burial will be in the Thorp Cemetery.
