Dollie was the daughter of John (Pleasant) Culbertson and his wife Elizabeth. She married Henry Cooper 27 February 1842 in Laurens County, South Carolina and their 2 oldest children were born there. By 1848 they were living in Blount County, Alabama and stayed there until just shortly before 1869 when they moved to Lincoln county, Tennessee where a daughter G.W was born in 1869 but apparently died before 1880 census when they are in Tate county, Mississippi where her other daughters married.
