Lawrence "Larry" E. Banta, 90, passed away peacefully at home in Montclair, CA on December 29, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patricia; two children, Tim (Juan) of Phillips Ranch and Annette (Keith) Saunders of Eastvale; two granddaughters; Lauren (Sean) Poitou and Rebecca Saunders. Lawrence was interred at Live Oak Memorial Park in Monrovia in a private burial. A Memorial and Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, 1/28/17 at 1:30 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 920 W. 6th St., Ontario, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Larry's memory to Redeemer Lutheran Church.
