Rickey Dale Moody of Baytown, TX was born in Baytown on October 28, 1954, and departed this life at age 62 on Wednesday, January 5, 2017.
Besides being an avid Dallas Cowboy fan, he was a hard worker and a charitable person. He will be sorely be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Morris Don Moody.
Rickey is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Joyce Moody and one son, Heath Jered Moody and one daughter Lacy Andale Roberts and her husband Alexander. He is also survived by his mother, Betty Gay Moody and brothers, Morris Don and his wife Carla and Jerry Wayne and his wife Shirley. Rickey had one sister, Ronna Renea Ledbetter and her husband Patrick. There are also many nieces and nephews remaining.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday, January 9, 2017, at Navarre Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with John Belk officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
His family asks that in keeping with his charitable nature that in lieu of flowers, you make a donation to St. Jude's children's research hospital in his name. Donations can be made at www.stjude.org. In Honor of Rickey, his family requests that you wear your finest Dallas Cowboys attire.
