In 1830 he and his brothers Drewry and William are in the census in Morgan Co Illinois and they are also listed in another census showing they are in the militia in Morgan IL. By 1833 his brothers are in a military census in Fentress CO TN but no Stephen. His wife Fetney Davidson Evans daughter of Alexander and Martha Smith Davidson later marries Robert Richardson. Our family is a DNA match to the children of Thomas and Jane. Stephen and Fetney have 4 known children. DNA matches now show that another son Alfred about 1823 which would fit the 4th son in the 1830 census.
