Clara L. "Peggy" Siefert, 79, Milroy, passed away Friday, Jan. 6, 2017. She was born at home on Aug. 18, 1937, daughter of the late Joseph and Myrtha (Barnes) Moran.

She married George B. Siefert on July 18, 1964, and he preceded her in death Dec. 4, 2007. She was a 1955 graduate of Rushville High School and retired from Rush Memorial Hospital, where she was a radiology technician. Memberships include St. Mary Catholic Church, where she worked with the fall festival, funeral dinners and school PTA committees.

Survivors include her son, Joseph (Kirstie Rickman); daughters, Jennifer (Neil) Ripbefger and Cindy (Matt) Amos; brother, David Moran; sister-in-law, Anna Mae (Carl) Zimmer; brother-in-law, Karl Roll; grandchildren, Ellen, Jonathan, and Kate Ripberger, Jacob, Tyler and Nicholas Amos, along with several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her siblings, Mary Jane, Helen, Elenora, Joann OSF, William, JD, and Patrick Moran; sister, Virginia (Dick) Herbert; sister-in-law, Pauline Roll; granddaughters, Georgeanna Rose and Helen Louise Amos; nephew, Greg Zimmer; niece, Kathy Ketchum.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 10 at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory, with the rosary at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial begins at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Jeremy Gries officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary Church, St. Vincent DePaul, or American Cancer Society.
