After spending a few years in Sparta, Nora moved with her family to Dayton, where she later met her husband. Together, they raised their family in Dayton and enjoyed the years together. Nora was a devoted mother and homemaker, and a member of Faith Baptist Church (Mountain View) of Dayton. She was also employed for many years as a seamstress for Delong Sportswear.
Nora is survived by her sons, Dennis (Sherry) Everett, Robert Everett and Donnie (Karen) Everett, all of Dayton; her sister, Edna Rue, of Dayton; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for Nora will be held in the chapel of Vanderwall Funeral Home on Wednesday, Jan 11, 2017, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Stanley Faulkner officiating. She will be laid to rest in Rigsby Cemetery in Bledsoe County, Tenn.
