Charles Chamblee, 81, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016, at NMMC Hospice in Tupelo. He was born August 3, 1935 to the late Marshall Chamblee and the late Ninnie Lou Tubbs Chamblee. He retired from Burlington-Northern Railroad after many years of service. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening, traveling, and watching baseball.

Services will be 3:30 pm on Sunday Sept. 25, 2016 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Howell officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Saturday Sept.24, 2016 at Senter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Chamblee; sons: Mickey (Lisa) Russell of Fulton, and Chuck (Michelle) Chamblee of Cumming, GA; daughters: Kim (Ricky) Steele, Charlotte (Randy) Rodgers both of Fulton; grandsons: Matt Russell of Fulton, Nathan (Jenna) Rodgers of Ingomar, Jordan (Janee') Steele of Fulton, Jake (Rachel) Steele of Conway, AR, and Drew (Paige) Gough of Fulton; granddaughters: Bronson (Zach) Spradling of Dorsey, Brooke (Mikey) Gough of Fulton, Laura Chamblee of Cumming, GA, Leah Chamblee of Cumming, Samantha Chamblee of Cumming, and Micah Gough of Fulton; great-grandson, Barrett Steele; great-granddaughters: Stella Gough, Naomi Rodgers, Oakley Spradling, Miriam Rodgers, Farrah Gough, and Tatum Gough; brother, Marvin (Blanche) Chamblee of Hatley; sister, Willie Faye (Robert) Lindsey of Amory.

Preceded in death by his parents, brother, Joe Chamblee, and a sister, Mary Lee Duvall

Pallbearers will be the grandsons.
