Havard, Preania Eulone
A resident of Clinton, she died Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at Grace Health and Rehab in Clinton. She was 82, born March 5, 1927, and a native of Wilkinson County, Miss. She was a former nurse's aide with Villa Feliciana Medical Complex in Jackson and a longtime member of Mount Carmel Methodist Church near Gloster, Miss. She is survived by four sons, Maurice "Bud" Havard and his wife, Donice, Donald Havard and his wife, Annette, Sidney Havard and his wife, Peggy, and Earl Havard and his wife, Sherry; two daughters, Sarah Hall and her husband, Jessie, and Janie Havard; 22 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Edna Collier; and five brothers, Charlie Partin, Andrew Partin, Alvin Partin, Ernest Partin and Carl Partin. Preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Partin and Ebey Partin; husband, Maurice Calvin Havard; and daughter, Connie Sue Havard. Visiting at Mount Carmel Methodist Church, near Gloster, on Thursday, July 23, from 10 a.m. until religious service at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Seth "Junior" Partin and Brother Jimmy Thomas. Interment in Smith Cemetery, near Gloster.
