Mrs. Esther Kirkpatrick

Mrs. Esther Alta Kirkpatrick, 85, of 101 Deer Park Lane, Calhoun, died Tuesday, July 13, 1993. at 5 .pm. at Cherokee Nursing Home following an extended illness.
She was born in Clinton County, Mich., on July 30 1907, daughter of the late Edwin and Myrtle Stephenson Winigar. She had spent the greater part of her life in Traverse City, Mich., moving to Gordon County in 1987. She was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Kirkpatrick, on Aug. 7, 1973.
Survivors include a daughter, Cherril Gillette of Calhoun; a son. Glen Kirkpatrick of Fife Lake, Mich.; two brothers, Paul Winigar of Lansing, Mich., and William Winigar of California; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were Friday, July 16, at 11 a.m. from Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, with Rev. Isaac Parker officiating. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery in Kalkaska, Mich.
Clifford Free Funeral Home of Calhoun was in charge of arrangements.
