Mr. Huard retired from Detroit Edison as an electrical engineer after 42 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, golf, fishing, gems, minerals and lapidary work. He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores; children, Philip (Sharon), Craig (Robin), Jill and Scott; and four grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Kaul Funeral Home, Clinton Township, with the Rev. Gary Morelli officiating. Burial will take place in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy.
