Ira L. Marion, 64, died Monday at 5:45 a.m. at his residence 1013 7th Ave. SW, following a lengthy illness.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Brown Funeral Co, pending arrival of relatives.
Mr. Marion, a veteran of World War I, was a retired L&N employe.
He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. M.W. Owens and Mrs. Robert Parker, both of Decatur; Mrss. Ben Keel, Washington, D.C.; and Mrs. Charles Martin, Arlington, Va; two sons, Paul of Decatur, and Floyd Marion, U.S. Army in Germany; and one brother, Earl Marion, Trinity.

Pallbearers will be A.J. Thornhill, E.F. Hutchinson, Walter J. Mittwede, Clyde Murphy Sr, Clyde Murphy Jr. and A.J. Couey.
