CHATFIELD -- The funeral for Oney Danielson will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Root Prairie Lutheran Church, with the Rev. John W. Sime officiating. Spring burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Danielson, 98, of Chatfield died Sunday evening (Feb. 9, 1992) at Chosen Valley Care Center, where she had resided since April 1984.
Oney Anderson was born May 30, 1893, in the rural Fountain area. On Dec. 20, 1916, she married Edwin Danielson at Root Prairie Lutheran Church in rural Fountain. The couple farmed in the area until 1953 when they moved to Chatfield. Mr. Danielson died Feb. 20, 1972.
Survivors include a son, Odin of Willcox, Ariz.; two daughters, Helen (Mrs. Phillip) Eide of Burbank, Calif., and Marian (Mrs. Clair) Gartner of Chatfield; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother Ilot Anderson of Chatfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, a great-granddaughter, four brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and 8 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Riley Funeral Home in Chatfield and one hour before the service at the church.
