Homer worked in the oilfield for many years and was a Methodist. Homer was a member of The United States Navy and served in WWII. He was also a member of the American Legion.
Homer was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Louis Rogers, Jr.
A visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, January 12, 2016 from 9-10 AM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with a funeral Service to follow at 10 AM with full military honors under the auspices of the Victoria County Veterans Council. Burial will immediately follow at Hirschhauser Cemetery.
