Elda Charlton Hadley passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2017 at McKay-Dee Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was born January 3, 1031 in Ogden, Utah the 11th of 12 children to Albert Ray Charlton and Maggie Gennette Hogge.

On November 19, 1949 Elda married Jay Lorenzo Hadley in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Elda retired from the IRS after many years of service. She enjoyed making quilts for her grandkids and supporting them in all their activities. She loved taking pictures, camping and spending time with her family.

Elda is survived by her children, Lex, (Joetta) Hadley, Hooper; Lynette (Larry) Sanders, West Haven; Leah (Travis) Stimpson, Farr West, nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, one great-grandchild; one brother, Larry, and three sisters, Mae, Laura, and "Annaabeth. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sone, Lonnie Hadley and one grandson, Jayke Hadley.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, West Weber Cemetary.
