Siller A. Crabtree, 78, died Thursday in The Woodlands after a long illness.
Mrs. Crabtree, who was born in Pall Mall, Tenn., moved to Muncie more than 55 years ago. She worked at Ball Brothers (Ball Corp.) for several years, and was a member of United Old Fashion Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughters, Jane Delk (husband: Mitchell), Muncie; two sisters, Eunie Downs, and Ruth Pirce, both of Muncie; two brothers, Isam Crabtree, Muncie, and Junior Crabtree, Jamestown, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Carol Bryant, Mesa, Ariz., and Charles Smith, Goshen; six great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and a good friend, Don Morris, Muncie.
A son, James A. Wright, is deceased.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Meeks Mortuary, with Rev. James C. Upchurch officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Calling will be an hour before services Tuesday at the mortuary.
