After fighting a 30 year battle with kidney disease Dr. Scott W. Bentley returned home to his loving Heavenly Father. He was born to Wendell W. Bentley and Barbara Jean Young. He married his high school sweetheart Peggy Heaton Bentley in the St. George LDS Temple on Dec 18, 1971.

He graduated from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1980 and moved his family to Dillon Montana, where they lived for 15 years before returning to Kanab UT in 1995.

Scott loved being a chiropractor and made countless friends during his 36 year practice. His patients were his friends and he loved each one dearly.

Dr. Bentley was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter Day Saints and had a burning testimony of the Savior jesus Christ and His restored gospel. As a master teacher through example and word he instilled hope and faith in many. He taught seminary and institute for many years in Montana and was a gifted public speaker. He lived life to the fullest and never gave up. He was watched over throughout his life by his guardian angel son Nathan.

He is survived by his eternal sweetheart Peggy, five children; Jennifer Anne, Natalie Nicole, Aaron Douglas, Lacey Jean and Joshua Sterling; 17 grandchildren, brother Jim and sisters Karalee and Linda.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Nathan Scott Bentley, twin nephews and a niece.

Services held on Jan 7, 2017 in the Kaibab Stake Center in the Ranchos in Kanab. Arrangements made with Mosdell Mortuary.
