Norma G. Hamilton of Easton Road, Hermitage formerly of Dogwood Lane, West Middlesex, died at the family residence on Friday afternoon, Dec. 30, 2016. She was 95.
She was born June 14, 1921, in Erie to the late Charles B. and Georgia A. Camp Warner.
Norma married Charles Canfield Hamilton on Jan. 1, 1945; he died Feb. 4, 2002.
Norma was a wonderful homemaker and took great pride in her home. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of West Middlesex and the United Methodist Women. She played the organ and piano for more than 25 years.
She earned her RN degree from Meadville City Hospital in 1944 and worked at Sharon General Hospital as a registered nurse until 1947. After leaving the health care profession, she took care of her family in the home that she so enjoyed.
Survivors include her son, R. Jeffrey Hamilton and his wife, Dora of Hermitage; a sister, Jean E. Tucker of Albion, Pa.; and a sister-in-law, Ruth Warner, East Springfield, Erie County, Pa.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons: John Allen Hamilton and David Charles Hamilton; and two brothers: Dane C. Warner and Neal C. Warner
