MRS. SCHAULAND, 24, LOUISA NATIVE, IS CALLED BY DEATH
Muscatine, Ia. April 29
Mrs. Otto Schauland, aged 24 years, a native of Louisa county and a lifelong resident of Muscatine county and vicinity, died at 3:30 o’clock yesterday afternoon in her home, 211 Gilbert street, after an eight months’ illness. Tuberculosis was the cause of her death. Mrs. Schauland, who was formerly Miss Lillian Healey, was born Feb. 9, 1900 in Louisa county and married July 4, 1922 to Otto Schauland. Beside the widower, she leaves a son, Wayne, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Healey, four sisters, Mrs. Mabel Landle of Atalissa, Grace, Bernice and Florence at home and a brother, Edward at home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 o’clock tomorrow morning in the home. Rev. George Blagg will have charge of the services and burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
