Aaron B. Tackett, age 72, of Honaker, KY, husband of Mazie Hamilton Tackett, passed away Monday, January 2, 2017 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY. He was born December 20, 1944 in Blue Moon, KY, a son of the late Curtis Tackett and Nancy Hunter Tackett. He was a self-employed business man and owner of Double T Construction.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter; Jan Lois (Mark) Hunt, Stanville, KY, one sister; Sylvia Lois Tackett, Harold, KY., two granddaughters; Rachael (Mike) Whirt and Margo (Alex) Shoaf, one great granddaughter; Magnolia Shoaf.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be conducted Friday, January 6, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Tackett Family Cemetery, Honaker, KY, visitation is after 4 p.m. Wednesday and all day Thursday at the funeral home, with church service each evening, under the kind and professional care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky
