Obituary:1945 Oct 15-Monday-Alvis Monroe Thedford passed away at his home in Madison Monday morning, Oct.15,1945. He had been in poor health for a year. Mr. Thedford was born Dec.2,1868 and moved to Madison in 1931. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. O. O. Owens of the Baptist church in Caldwell, and at the Madison cemetery Tuesday afternoon. In addition to his wife, Mrs. Allie Reynolds Thedford, he leaves two sons, Cobie Thedford of Madison and Curtis Thedford of Greenville, Tenn., and six grandchildren.
