C. Harold Fort, 90, died Friday, May 29, 1992, in Little Rock, Ark.

Born May 2, 1902, in Kenney to Charles I. and Lulu Morris Fort, he married Verla Mae Robinson on March 30, 1930, in Morton. She died June 6, 1961. He then married Roxane I. Ziegler on Dec. 1, 1963, in Minier.

She survives, along with two sons, Charles V. and H. Duane; one daughter, Reva A. Etheridge; one stepson, Darwin Ziegler; one stepdaughter, Phyllis French; and one sister, Ruth Bruhn of Bloomington.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

A grain and livestock farmer in Armington and a former member of the Tazewell County Farm Bureau, he retired in 1962 and moved to Arkansas.

Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
