Andrew G. "Benny" Palencar, 77, formerly of 638 Furnace St., Emmaus, died Thursday in Cedarbrook, Allentown R.2.
He was employed by Rodale Manufacturing, Emmaus, for many years until retiring. He was also a member of the U.S. Civilian Conservation Corps during the 1930s.
Born in Emmaus, he was a son of the late Stephen and Mary (Ulicny) Palencar.
He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Emmaus.
Surviving is a brother, Stephen G. Sr. of Emmaus.
Services at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Kulik-Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus, will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in the church. A calling hour will precede the services.
