AD McFatridge 66, of Paris, died at 4:24 AM, Saturday, December 31, 2016 at his home. A graveside service is set for 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Restland Cemetery in Roxton with Rev. Mickey Kelley officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 PM Monday evening at the funeral home. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
AD was born, one of 18 children, to George Clayton and Edna Virginia Short McFatridge in Paris. He graduated from Chicota High School and worked all of his life in anything farm related. Mr. McFatridge married Ester Lucille Endsley Walker on November 6, 1999 in Powderly. He was a member of the Assembly of God.
Survivors include his wife, Ester Lucille McFatridge of the home; three children, Michelle Thompson, Sherry Walker, and Angela Waldrip; eight grandchildren, Amanda Little, Brianna Thompson, Alicia Yarbrough, Cody Brown, Daniel Waldrip, Ashley Moore, Ricky Moore, and Amber Rendon; six siblings, Delorse Titsworth and husband, Don of Bennington, Oklahoma, Peggy McFatridge of Bennington, Oleta Kelley and husband, Bill of Powderly, Danny McFatridge of Powderly, Billy McFatridge and wife, Donna of Bokchito, Oklahoma, and Freddy McFatridge and wife, Bonnie of Paris; many great-grandchildren and extended family. He was preceded in death by a son, Lanny Joe Walker, his parents and eleven brothers and sisters.
Honorary pallbearers will be Danny McFatridge, Billy McFatridge, Freddy McFatridge, Michael Kelley, Brent McFatridge, and Donald McFatridge.
