In 1920, Charles F. Brickler (age 12) lived in Wabash Township, Tippecanoe County, Indiana, with his parents, Frank (age 43) and Bessie (age 39), and his siblings, Elizabeth (age 16), Capitola (age 14), Dorothy (age 9), Marian (age 7), John, (age 2), and Clara (infant).

Charles Franklin Brickler, 58, formerly of Lafayette, died in Douglas County Hospital, Omaha, NE, at 12:30 PM Wednesday, March 3, 1965, where he had been a patient since Dec. 23.

Born in West Lafayette, he was last employed by National Homes Corp. He went to Chicago in 1961, and later to Peoria, IL, and had been in Omaha only three hours before collapsing in the street.

Surviving are a brother, John Brickler of St. Louis, MO; and six sisters, Mrs. K.W. (Elizabeth) Harper of Florence, KY, Mrs. Edward (Dorothy) Robinson, Mrs. Charles (Martha Marie) Easley, both of Lafayette, Mrs. Howard (Capitola) Knicklebine of Brookston, Mrs. C.J. Gribben of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Marion Anderson of West Lafayette. The body is being returned to Lafayette for services and burial.
