Evelyn Shelly

Evelyn Shelly, resident of Cushing, passed away on April 9, 1993 in the Cushing Regional Hospital at the age of 61. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, at the Drumright North Cemetery with Robert Annett officiating.
She was born in Harrington, Wa., on February 12, 1932, the daughter of the late Charles and Ida Mable (Root) Abbott. She had spent the majority of her life in the Washington area and had moved to Cushing in 1979.
On April 22, 1975 she married James R. Shelly is survived by her husband, James R. Shelly, Cushing; three sons, Terry Austin and Rick Austin, both of Washington, and Robert Austin, of Virginia; four step sons, John, Danny, and Jimmy Shelly, of Washington, Kenneth Shelly of Colorado.
She is also survived by a sister, Icye Coulson of Washington, Morther-in-law, Dorothy S. Shelly of Washington, and fourteen grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Michael's Funeral Home of Drumright.
