Alice was a caretaker and homemaker, who was always cooking, babysitting, gardening or playing bingo. She was a former member of the F.O.P.
Survivors include four children, Michael L. Erwin, Nancy S. Henry (husband-Steve) Robert Wolfe, and Donald R. Trammell; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; special daughter, Carol Hill Wilson (husband-Jim); special niece, Joan Martin (husband-Jim); special friends, Mary Jane Kerrigan, Carol Ann Shuck,, Mary Brown Parks, and Joyce Wright; special caregivers and nurses, Jennifer, Arick, Shelby, Erin, Katie, Ashlee, Nikki, Kim, Mandy, Carla, Kristy, Stacy, and the rest of the staff at Albany Health Care.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter-in-law, Eugenia L. Trammell; three sisters, and five brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel, with Pastor Luke Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, north of Muncie. Friends may call at the mortuary from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Friday.
