Mary Hope Archer Bryant, age 93 of Lima, Ohio, passed away December 18, 2016. She was born in Hitchcock, Texas on March 15, 1923. Mary Hope Mundine graduated from Rockdale High School and received a business degree from Nixon Clay Business School. Mary Hope was married to Willie Leroy Archer on September 6, 1943 who preceded her in death in December of 1994. She was married to L D Bryant on March 15, 1997 who also preceded her in death. Mary Hope worked as a supervisor for the Texas State Department of Public Safety. She was a lifelong member at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Austin, Texas. She also had a passion for singing and cooking. Mary Hope is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Dan Mundine and sister, Betty Jo Mundine Rhea. Mary Hope is survived by her daughter Ann Archer, her grandchildren Martin Eric Casper and Myra Elaine Drumm Carey, her great-grandchildren: Rylie Dalton Drumm, Storm Walker Drumm, Kendra Renee Casper, Kaitlyn Veronica Casper, Collin Joseph Casper, and Kiree Paige Carey. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 6:00-8:00pm on Friday, the 30th of December 2016 at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Blvd. Austin, Texas 78752. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am on Saturday, the 31st of December 2016, at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 3838 Steck Ave, Austin, Texas 78759.
