Eunice W. Nowell, 96, was a long time resident of Natchez, MS and spent most of her remaining years with her daughter in Mena, AR. She passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Brandon Nursing and Rehab. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Lakewood Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Nowell was born in Crystal Springs, MS on February 10, 1920 to the late Louis J. and Mattie Boutwell Wahl. She graduated from Crystal Springs High School and later finished Draugn's Business School. She married her sweet heart, H.T. Nowell on May 19, 1940. Together they had 5 children, Dona, Wayne, Ralph, Elaine, and Richard. Mrs. Nowell retired from U.S. GVT. Waterways Experiment Station in Vicksburg, MS.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, children, Dona Granger and Wayne Nowell, and brothers, Eugene, Carl, and Joe Wahl.
