Bruce Duane Bingham
1941 - 2016

Early Life: He was born March 20, 1941, in Burley, Idaho, to Eldon Duane and Mona Lolita Lowe Bingham.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: He had three great passions in this life: First his sweet bride, Dawn Brashear, whom he met while serving a mission for the LDS Church in the Western States Mission. They married on August 25, 1965, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He loved the Boy Scouts of America and after giving Dawn his heart, he gave his all to Scouting and the young men he served. He also loved to fly. He was a skilled private pilot. With his health hindering his dream of being an astronaut, his loved ones think that if he hadn't chosen Engineering as a profession, he may have become an Alaska bush pilot. He was flying as a licensed pilot at age 16 in Emmett, Idaho, where his family had moved after spending his first few years in Burley, Idaho. His family heard rumor he was also piloting an old Ford truck like a low flying aircraft around the Emmett Valley with his friends, but that can neither be confirmed nor denied. He chose a milder profession in Mechanical Engineering with a Masters Degree from Brigham Young University. True Grit. If you had any opportunity to be around him here, you knew he was a hard worker. Some even called him a workaholic (but you would never have seen him intoxicated.) He loved hard work and didn't feel a job was worth doing unless it was done right. His legacy was service. From home teaching, to being the man behind the scene at Woodbadge, to high school and BYU theater productions, he was depended upon to make it right. Meticulous to OCD levels at times, he wanted to make sure those he supported had what they needed and looked good. You could just count on anything Bruce touched was in good condition or even better than when he received it in most cases. Bionic. Bruce Duane Bingham graduated from this mortal existence December 27, 2016, in Springville, Utah; having fought the good fight, and completed all he had been asked to do, he has accepted his next assignment. He was 75.
Family Message: "He was loved and cared for by the fantastic family of nurses and care givers at Ashford Memory Care."
Survived By: His remaining children: Eric, Shawnette Pruiett, Nicole Shepherd, Heather, Adam, Clinton, Melanie Hacker, Tiffany Knoell, and Denielle Rodondo. He has a posterity of 33 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Preceded In Death By: We are quite certain he is anxiously engaged in a massive Bingham family reunion where he is seeing many friends and family who paved the way there including: his son, Nathan and his parents.
