Floyd Campbell, son of Ora Julia (Scott) and Orma Campbell, was born Sept. 6, 1911, in Washington Township, Adair County. He died July 9, 2003, at Creston Nursing and Rehab Center, Creston, Iowa. He graduated from Bridgewater High School in 1930. On Jan.20,1932, he married Cleo Irene Antisdel in Maryville, Missouri. He farmed the family farm on the Adams-Adair County line until moving to Creston in October 1980. He attended the First Christian Church in Bridgewater and Crest Baptist Church in Creston.
Survivors include 3 sisters-in-law, Evelyn (Virgil) Martin, Doris Gipple and Violet Antisdel; 2 grandchildren, Mark (Brenda) Blazek and Karen Blazek (Brandon McDowell); 2 great-granddaughters; and 3 step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife in June 2001; a daughter, Connie Blazek; a brother, Don Campbell; and a son-in--law, Burton Blazek.
