Annie D. Chambers, 93, of 1100 Glenwood Ave., died Thursday, March 12, 1998, at Evergreens Nursing Center.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 1998, at Glenwood Presbyterian Church with burial to follow in Guilford Memorial Park.
Mrs. Chambers was a member of Glenwood Presbyterian Church. She retired from Burlington Industries and also retired from Belk Department Store in the security department.
She is survived by her son, Joe G. Chambers; daughter, Sara Counts; both of Greensboro; brother, Vernon Dalton of Cary; sisters, Frances Durham of Laurens, SC; and Susie Blair of Greensboro; grandchildren, Lynn Walker of Columbus, Ga.; Joie Fischer; Tammie Baker; and Ray Counts, Jr.; all of Greensboro; and five great-grandchildren.
