Mrs. Rosa Snelling, age 70, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bertha Tate, Sunday, May 20, 1951, at 6 p.m., Shepherdsville, KY, after a long illness. Besides Mrs. Tate, she leaves 3 other children, Mrs. Lottie Dooley, Big Spring, KY, Alfonzo Snelling, Louisville, KY, and Mr. Audrey Snelling, Big Spring, KY, 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 1 brother, Charles Roberts, Big Spring, KY; and 3 sisters, Mrs. Alice Padgett, Big Spring, KY, Mrs. Maggie Neff, Louisville, KY and Mrs. Mary Melissa Weikel, Shively, KY. She was removed from Nelson-Edelen Chapel Monday, to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lottie Dooley. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, at 2 p.m. by Rev. A.R. Cooper and Rev. J.V. Vanada. Burial in the church cemetery.
