Mrs. Wilbur Biederman Funeral
Held In Osage Monday, September 22
Funeral services for Mrs. Wilbur Biederman, 57, of rural Grafton, who died September 20 at the St. Ansgar Good Samaritan Center, were held September 22 at the United Church of Christ in Osage with the Rev. Jack Cahill officiating.
Eleanor Klein was born January 19, 1923 in Raymond, Kan., the daughter of Henry and Frances (Malone) Klein. Following her graduation from high school she attended the Atchinson-Topeka and Santa Fe School for Telegraphy in Topeka, Kansas and was employed by the Union Pacific Railway in California. She attended Iowa State University, Ames, as a special student.
Mrs. Biederman was a member of the United Church of Christ and the Auxiliary to VFW Post 7920 in Osage. Wilbur Biederman and Eleanor Klein were married November 8, 1944. They farmed near Grafton. She had been employed by the Mitchell County Memorial hospital until her recent illness. She was a Democratic candidate for the office of State Legislature 10 years ago.
Mrs. Biederman is survived by her husband, Wilbur; two sons, Bruce of Grafton and Gary of Early; two daughters, Mrs. Marky (Ann) Perry of Reading, Mass. and Mrs. William (Gwen) McKinley of Mankato, Minn.; three grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Wilbur Combs of Russellville, Ark., Mrs. Don Parsons of Prescott, Ariz., Mrs. Robert Gilmore of Indianapolis, Indiana and Mrs. Alice Schrimshaw of Wichita, Kan.; also nieces and nephews.
Burial was in Oak Grove cemetery in Mitchell with the Rev. Cahill in charge of committal services.
