Services will be at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, December 22, 2016, at Moore Funeral Chapel in Hattiesburg, followed by burial in Dixie Baptist Cemetery.
Mrs. Elsie worked at the Pentagon with the FBI after high school. On the train, travelling back to Hattiesburg, she met and later married Robert E. “Bob” Arrington. She worked as his legal secretary for more than ten years. She then joined the Moore Funeral Home family and for 27 years worked as a hostess until her retirement in February 2015. She was a member of Dixie Baptist Church.
Mrs. Todd was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert E. “Bob” Arrington; her second husband, Lee Roy Todd; four sisters and one brother.
She is survived by three sons, Jimmy Arrington (Larry Parish), Lee Arrington and Bobby Arrington (Susan), all of Hattiesburg; one daughter, Dawn Russell (Bill) of Hattiesburg; one sister, Margie Grantham of Athens, Tex.; one brother, Myron Lee McDowell of Houston, Tex.; and two grandchildren, Derek Arrington (Amy) and Rebekah Arrington; one great-grandson, Graham Arrington.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg.
