START (Special) — Funeral services for William Lee Alsbrooks, 84, of Start, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Start Baptist Church with the Revs. Willie Woodward and E. L. Hayes officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn's Funeral Home of Rayville.

Mr. Albrooks died at noon Saturday at St. Francis Hospital after a short illness.

He was a farmer and long-time deacon of Start Baptist Church. He was a native of Richland Parish.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Addie Alsbrooks, Start; four sons, J. W. Alsbrooks of Forest, J. T. Alsbrooks of Tunica, Miss., E. L. Alsbrooks of Atlanta, Ga., Charles W. Alsbrooks of Baton Rouge; a daughter, Mrs. Lelia Fuller of Monroe; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Letlow, Hamp Henry, Scott Word, George Word, E. B. Halley, Jessie T. Halley.

Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Start Baptist Church.
