Date of death incorrectly read as 1791. He was known as Christopher in land deeds, York County, PA.
He came over in 1751 on the ship PHOENIX to Philadelphia; signed the oath 25 Sept. 1751. Strassburger shows him as Christophell Hofman; the PA Archives as Christoph Hofman.
