Services for Lennie Oma Hudgins, 99 of Tyler, are set for 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2016 in the chapel of Jackson's Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home with Wayne Gandy and Jeff Stewart officiating. She will be laid to rest at Cathedral in the Pines cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Mrs. Hudgins passed away on Thursday, December 15th in Tyler. She was born December 7, 1917 in Madisonville to the late Oscar William Johnson and Fannie Mae Tab Johnson. Mrs. Hudgins was a housewife and homemaker and longtime member of Rice Road Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ralph Hudgins. Survivors are, two sons and daughters-in-law, Oscar Wayland and Martha Sue Hudgins of Tyler, and Charles R. and Gail Hudgins of Houston; grandchildren, Angela, Teresa, Kristi, Rhonda, Linda, Robert, Michael and Roy; eighteen great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
