She married William King on January 16, 1938, in Childress. She loved getting family together and cooking meals for them, and she loved to laugh. Nellie was a member of Bell Avenue Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her siblings and a son-in-law, Norman Naron.
Survivors include three daughters, Theresa Miller and husband Milton, of Amarillo, Jean Harmon and husband Jerry, of Canyon Lake, and Joan Naron Felps and husband Dale, of Boerne; 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 2 step great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016, in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Glen Walton and Dean Whaley officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.
