Mrs. Otis Allen Lee, 86, of 2525 Holloway St., died Tuesday morning at her home.
Born in Johnston county, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Eldridge and Meadie Dunn Allen. She was a member of Durham Memorial Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years.
Surviving are two sons, Victor Lee and James D. Lee, both of Durham; one daughter, Louise Shamel of Durham; five sisters, Omie Thompson, Lomie Lee and Ruby Baker, all of Four Oaks; Jerelene Marker of Benson, and Rachel Ellis of Smithfield; one brother, L.E. Allen, Jr. of Benson; eight grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. In 1986, she was predeceased by her husband, Lennie Alpheus Lee.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Durham Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Gerald C. Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service.
