February 3, 1948 - December 21, 2016 After a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease, Brenda walked into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. She was born February 3, 1948 in Roanoke, Va. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Rudolph Meador and Audrey Holt Meador. Survivors include her husband, Gleeon L. Quesenberry, Jr.; daughters and their husbands, Anita (William) Laurent, Jennifer (Cary) Bednarek, Christie (Keith) Soverns, granddaughter Alena (Dan) Horvath and great granddaughter Zara Lynn Horvath. Visitation will be at Coulson Church of the Brethren, 4127 Coulson Church Road, Hillsville, VA 24343 on Thursday, December 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. as well as one hour before the funeral service. The family will have the service to celebrate her life at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 23, 2016 at Coulson Church of the Brethren with Pastor Hal Sonafrank and Pastor Harry Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Donations may be made to Coulson Church of the Brethren or to your favorite charity.
