William was born the son of Carl Poston and Beulah Arlene (Harrison) Sego on March 19, 1946, at their home in the country near Princeton, Missouri. His proud parents and 5 siblings were waiting for his arrival. The blessings did not end there, as 7 more children would soon be added to the mix. He was united in marriage to his best friend Linda Luttrell on August 16, 1986, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She survives of the home. He was baptized on November 23, 1986, with his sons, Danny, John, and Jason. William worked for Fiberglass for 10 years. He then worked on the Missouri Pacific/Union Pacific Railroad for 31 years from December 1977 until August 2008. He was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church, Yuma, Colorado. William enjoyed traveling, and made two unforgettable trips to Mexico and the Dominican Republic. He also enjoyed attending car shows, where he showed his 1950 Chevy flamed pickup.
