EMILEO A. VANNONI

Emileo A. Vannoni, 90, Dayton, died Sunday morning at the Marian Home following a lengthy illness. Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Laufersweiler Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church with the Rev. Leonard Ziegmann and the Rev. James Tigges, pastor of Christ then King Church, Dayton, concelebrating at the Mass of the Resurrection.

Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Tuesday at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Parish rosary is at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Survivors include his wife, Prima, children, Rose, Fort Dodge; Fred, Belle Plaine, Iowa; Ed, Everett, Wash.; V. P., Tuscon, Ariz.; Ivan and Bill, both of Fort Dodge; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Mr. Vannoni was born in Santarcangelo, Italy. He came to the United States at the age of 15, settling first in Indiana and later moving to Lehigh. He married Prima Semprini in 1917 in Fort Dodge. They made their home in Lehigh. They later lived on various small farms in Webster County. Mr. Vannoni was also employed in the brickyards and clayworks in Kalo. They later semi-retired to a small farm southeast of Dayton where he made his home until entering the Marian Home in October, 1983. He was a member of the Farm Bureau for many years.
