The funeral will be 4 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, at Davidson Funeral Home with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 3 to 4 p.m.
Mrs. Everhart was born November 28, 1916, in Randolph County, to Lonnie Leonard and Minnie Jane Brower Spivey. She was a retired spinner from Wennonah Cotton Mills and a member of Second Reformed United Church of Christ. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Seaford Edsel Everhart; son, Joel Everhart; granddaughter, Donna Black; brother, Therman Brower; and sister, Lucy Hinkle.
Surviving are daughter, Sylvia Duvall of Lexington; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
