He is survived by his wife, Frances (Cornett) Godbey, whom he married on September 16, 1963; two daughters, Lavonna Adams, Waynesburg, KY. and Cheryl Roy, Liberty, KY.; three sisters, Deloris Murry, Palm Springs, CA., Lillie Moore, Cincinnati, OH. and Margaret Burton, Cincinnati, OH.; four brothers, Oral Godbey, Peoria, IL., Bill Godbey, Cincinnati, OH., Roy Godbey, Arlington, KY. and Ralph Godbey, Danville, KY.; 2 grandchildren, Michael Adams and Tanya Adams; 2 great grandchildren; Corey Adams and Hayden Abston.
