Mrs. William Shafer of Hanover Community, age 40, died at 7:00 a.m. Thursday morning Sept 23, 1943, in a Temple Hospital. She had been in ill health for the past month. Mrs. Shafer had lived in the Hanover community all her life.
She is survived by her husband and eight children. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 4:00 o'clock, Rev. A. J. Frisby officiating, at Liberty."
