Abraham apparently died before 1840 as Harriet is listed as the head of the household on the 1840 Vigo Co Federal Census. It is not known where Abraham is buried.
On 12 May 1842, she married Thomas J. Allen in Vigo Co. Indiana. By 1850 Thomas, Harriet, William & Rhoda Carlisle and two younger children, John & Harriet Allen, are listed on the Clinton Co, Iowa Federal Census. Apparently William died prior the the 1860 census when the family is residing in Washington County, NE. There is no further record of William.
