Ronald J. Black, 73, of 45 Ann St., Middletown, died Saturday in Holy Spirit Hospital.

He was a retired equipment specialist at the former Mechanicsburg Naval Depot, Hampden Twp.; a World War II Navy veteran; and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, American Legion Post 594 and Prince Edwin Lodge 486 F&AM, all of Middletown, Harrisburg Consistory and National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Lynch Black; two sons, a brother, Ray of Harwood, Md.; and two grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in his church. Burial will be in Middletown Cemetery.

Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday in his church.

Coble-Reber Funeral Home of Middletown is handling arrangements.
